What's This All About?
20-year-old Craig from Cincinnati is battling three types of cancer. His nine weeks of chemotherapy are under way.
During the chemo, he can't work or go to school. ... Yeah ... Worse, he has to spend 6 hours alone in a room for each treatment session, 5 days a week.
On the bright side, Craig is an incontestably awesome dude. He takes great care of his family. He loves to BMX. He dominates at fantasy football. And he's carrying the pride of Cheviot on his back!

It's got to be pretty boring to sit in a room 6 hours a day while doctors pump all kinds of crap into your body. Plus, it won't be as easy for Craig to keep up with all his crew.

To raise cash for Craig, I'm going to donate $1 for every mile I run during his chemo. I hope to log at least 180 miles by the time he's finished.

Craig...I know you're not going to believe it, but I, Nick Chaney, am actually starting to run each day. Crazy...I know. I've gotten about 2 miles in each day this past week for you. You still kick my ass in scrabble whenever we play, though. So that sucks. Hang in there, guy, and we will be reunited before you know it (I believe the count is currently at 29 days)!
