Happy Easter! It's been nine weeks since we started this thing. Craig got through his last day of chemo this week! And today I ran the final leg of 250 miles, 70 miles farther than I hoped to go.
During that time, you've helped us raise almost $3,000 for Craig's care!! We never expected that kind of response. The incredible outpouring of support is a testament to your love and generosity!

Finally, for those of you in Cincinnati, there will be a fundraiser all day tomorrow, March 24, at Champion's Grille on Crookshank. Champion's will donate 10 percent of their proceeds from the entire day (they're open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.) to Craig's care. There will be basket raffles, split-the-pot, T-shirt and rubberband sales, and general donations also will be accepted. Make it an extension of your holiday weekend! Get down there and have some fun!

What's This All About?
20-year-old Craig from Cincinnati is battling three types of cancer. His nine weeks of chemotherapy are under way.
During the chemo, he can't work or go to school. ... Yeah ... Worse, he has to spend 6 hours alone in a room for each treatment session, 5 days a week.
On the bright side, Craig is an incontestably awesome dude. He takes great care of his family. He loves to BMX. He dominates at fantasy football. And he's carrying the pride of Cheviot on his back!

It's got to be pretty boring to sit in a room 6 hours a day while doctors pump all kinds of crap into your body. Plus, it won't be as easy for Craig to keep up with all his crew.

Run for Craig
To raise cash for Craig, I'm going to donate $1 for every mile I run during his chemo. I hope to log at least 180 miles by the time he's finished.
It's not much, but with your help, it could be a little more. If you want to match my donation, leave Craig a note anywhere on this site pledging your support of $1 a mile. Then, at the end of 9 weeks, we'll post info to donate online or send a check.
If you can't donate but still want to help, you can run or walk for Craig. Just hit the road, then leave him a note to tell him how far you went, how fast, or what you saw along the way!
My mile total before Jan. 21 was 12.4, so we'll subtract that from the final number. Keep an eye on our progress here:
